Workshop overview:

Principals have been told for years that they need to be instructional leaders. However, with the new emphasis on schools as learning organizations and effective teachers as lifelong learners, principals now need to be learning leaders. A learning leader facilitates a school-wide focus upon learning and supports teachers in the ongoing learning necessary to ensure student success. The Principal as Learning Leader offers practical ideas, supported by current research and theory, to enable principals to be learning leaders.

Cathy Toll
Cathy Toll is a nationally recognized consultant in the areas of teacher professional learning, educational coaching, and leadership. Prior to her current role, she served as a school principal, teacher of elementary, middle, and high school students, curriculum coordinator, university professor, grant director, and educational coach.
