Dr. Jody
Westbrook-Youngblood is the District Facilitator for
Professional Learning for the San Antonio Schools. She is also an
Adjunct Professor at UTSA in the Department of Educational
Leadership. A certified trainer for the Southwest Education
Development Laboratory (SEDL), she has presented, consulted and coached
numerous groups in “Leadership for Changing Schools.”
She is the author of Creating the Capacity for Change: An Action Tool, which is published by the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD). She is the coeditor of National Staff Development Council’s (NSDC) scholarly journal, Journal of Research in Professional Learning, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Staff Development Council, an affiliate of NSDC. She has made numerous presentations at conferences and institutes for both NSDC and ASCD. Jody also consults with schools and school districts, and has been an adjunct faculty with the Center for Creative Leadership.
